PrintPro Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

PrintPro ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application that helps small businesses create, manage, and print thermal receipts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in using Google or Apple Sign-In, we receive your name and email address for authentication purposes.

Business Information: You may voluntarily enter business details such as shop name, address, phone number, GSTIN, and UPI ID. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our cloud service for backup.

Receipt Data: Receipts you create, including item details, prices, and customer information, are stored locally on your device. Cloud backup is optional and encrypted.

Camera Access: The app uses your camera for barcode scanning and receipt OCR scanning. Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded to any server.

Bluetooth Access: The app uses Bluetooth to discover and connect to thermal printers. We do not collect or transmit any Bluetooth data.

Microphone Access: The app uses your microphone for voice input to create receipts. Speech is processed on-device using your device's built-in speech recognition service and is not uploaded to our servers. Note: Your device's speech recognition service may be subject to your device manufacturer's or OS provider's privacy policy.

Device Identifier: To enable digital bill sharing via WhatsApp, we create an anonymous device identifier using Firebase Authentication. This identifier contains no personal information (no name, no email). If you later sign in with Google or Apple, this identifier is linked to your account.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide receipt creation, printing, and management services
• To authenticate your account and enable cloud backup
• To sync your data across your devices (if enabled)
• To process in-app purchases and manage your subscription
• To improve our app and fix bugs

4. Data Storage and Security

Your business and receipt data is primarily stored locally on your device using encrypted local databases. If you enable cloud backup, data is securely stored using Google Firebase / Firestore with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication: For secure sign-in (Google, Apple)
• Firebase Firestore: For optional cloud backup
• Firebase Storage: For digital bill sharing (receipt PDFs)
• Google Play Billing / Apple StoreKit: For in-app purchase processing
• Firebase Cloud Functions: For short link redirect service
• RevenueCat: For subscription management and purchase validation
• Apple Speech / Android Speech Services: On-device speech recognition for voice input (no data leaves the device)

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to any third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

• When required by law or legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of PrintPro, our users, or the public
• With your explicit consent

6a. Digital Bill Sharing

When you send a digital bill via WhatsApp, the receipt PDF is uploaded to our secure cloud storage (Firebase Storage) and a shareable link is generated. These files remain available until you delete your account via Settings > Delete Account & Data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data at any time through the app
• Export your receipt data as CSV files
• Delete your account and all associated data (receipts, items, customers, cloud backup) directly from the app: Settings > Delete Account & Data. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
• Opt out of cloud backup at any time

8. Subscription and Auto-Renewal

PrintPro offers optional premium subscriptions (monthly and yearly plans). Key terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your device's App Store or Google Play Store settings.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Prices may vary by region. Final price is shown at checkout.

9. Children's Privacy

PrintPro is designed for business use and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
